spectating: Powerboats over 10 HP are not allowed on Hoover Reservoir — so no chase-boat spectating; shore and docks are the plan.
food: Lunch is provided for the sailors — adults fend for themselves (there's a tip jar; feed it). Nearby: Dunkin' just across the bridge; Hoover Bar and Kitchen (newer, good ratings, opens at 11) right across the bridge too; an Asian place and an Italian place in the same strip.
